I've been a creative as far back as I can remember. But hair has always been my true calling. I remember in my younger years, flipping through salon lookbooks & thinking, I want to make that. Hair has always the ultimate form of self expression, confidence & identity to me.
Fast forward to today. I created Sanctuary because I wanted to build something that was missing in traditional salon environments. No judgment, rushing or feeling that you were just another head in a chair.
The name came naturally because I realized I was already creating that feeling without even trying. Client after client told me they felt comfortable, seen, supported, safe. Like they could finally just exhale, be honest about what they wanted, & trust the person doing it.
That's what this place I wanted my space to feel like, a sanctuary. A space for transformation, where you can come as you are, give me what you have & I'll transform it into something you love.
So if you're looking for someone who's honest, obsessed with getting it right & genuinely cares about your hair long after you leave my chair -

I'm a huge Deftones fangirl (I liked them before it was cool). I have a White Pony tattoo I got when I was 21.
